Carmela’s Story:
As the Managing Broker of ResortQuest, Carmela Bell strives each day to give the ResortQuest Sales Team a strategic and tactical advantage in the marketplace. She maximizes results by inspiring vision, courage, ethical integrity, trust, and a cooperative spirit. ResortQuest Real Estate has been her one and only brokerage home for over three decades. Carmela has watched her team grow from $50 million in annual production to over a half a billion in production. She works closely with real estate developers and architects in the design and marketing of new resorts across the Coast. Nothing excites her more than a competitive edge and working with people who ask, “What’s next?” while still finishing a development. Known as ResortQuest’s “master of pricing”, Carmela gives researched attention and serious thought to the science, skill, and art of pricing. She is committed to excellence believing service doesn’t come with boundaries.
Carmela is an active leader in the community as past director and serving seven years on the Destin Chamber of Commerce board. She was past chairman of the professional standards committee of the Emerald Coast Association of Realtors and continues to serve on this committee. She has served on the board of directors of the Building Industry Association of Okaloosa and Walton County since 2010 and currently serves on their executive board as Secretary. In 2012 she was awarded “Associate of the Year” of the Building Industry Association. She also has served multiple years on the board of Business Empowered. Business Empowered is a Christian business association that exist to equip, empower, and encourage leaders who want to see biblical principles lived out in the marketplace.
On a more personal side, Carmela is very family oriented with a sister in Miami and credits her parents who prepared her for success by instilling everything that she is most proud of about herself. She loves animals and enjoys the outdoors, reading, and trying new healthy recipes.
